Tempestuous
Snow is drifting
Shadows are lifting
Winds a howl
Chimney cowled
Crackling fires blaze
Shivering skin fades
Snuggle beneath sheets
Desiring quick relief.
Tempered soul wisks away gusts
Flurries leave without a fuss
Powered pink, blue streaks
Lustering high above me.
Splendid sunset opens up skies
Rendering me green-eyed.
Pine trees bowing idly
Thankful your gone finally!
