The Dark Inside of Me

Can you really see
The Dark inside of me?
Can you really tell
That I have walked through hell?

Tell me can you feel-
The masks I try to peel
Instead I stand so cold
Lost, not brave or bold

Tell me can you touch-
My scars; they hurt too much
I just want to know
How to end this show?

Did I hit rewind?
Or do I try to find-
Someone that can be
The rescue within me?

Could the truth be here,
And, is it what I fear?
This person-now am I?
I look up to the sky

And, scream 'I can't believe-
This Demon's inside me! '
'Get this thing right out! '
'HELP! ' I scream and shout

What is this-I am?
Now, I take a stand!
I am trying to fight
I want to see the light

Now more Dark inside
-The light will override
This poison that I hold
How could I stoop so low?

Save me now-I scream
Wake me-from this dream!
I am stuck inside
No more tears I cry

Now I walk alone
My darkness only shown
But, I must break free
THIS-I cannot be!

Will you help me out
Won't you help me free-
What this is all about-
These Demon's inside me?
