Warming
So begins the final chapter
No where to land the lonely raptor
Washed away familiar perch
Leaving many in a learch
It’s but the start of what’s in store
That eats away at every shore
It’s here where most the damage felt
When does the snow begin to melt
It’s all too fast the temp does change
The landscape quick to rearrange
No dams to build no levies made
The sun comes out and dreams do fade
The only choice is not be there
Where now the snow is in the air
For wide the river soon will grow
From all the rage of melting snow
