If you knew... [De-ai şti...]
If you knew how much, my dear,
I pine for your voice to hear,
You'd come flying like a bird
Just to tell me one more word.
Whether bad or good it be,
We would chatter, you and me,
You would glance and I would stare,
Then the words would fill the air.
You'd say several, I know,
I would let a lot to flow,
Vain, but pure like a white dove,
Telling only about love.
So, come quickly like a bird,
Come and say to me a word,
For I'm eager to rejoice
When I hear your charming voice.
