‘The camera does not lie’;
yet the truth rests in yourself..

Here’s this photo of one, said
by those who know, to be a saint;

no one to say just say cheese..)

here is one who knows that all and everything
is God; so looks into the camera and beyond

and at all of us, and at all of all of us
as God; in goodwill; Godwill;

Camera vs, Pencil

Exactly same and true
Picture of objects wonderful
The magical instrument
Captures the real image

But real things become still
Logics, camera can't fill
Images, camera only captures
Pencil gives birth to a picture

The sketches drawn by pencil
Speak and make you feel
Not only liveliness of the object
But compels one too, to interpret

My Hollywood journey.

While staring through a local magazine the other day

I saw an ad for actors with the skill of stamina and stable mental state.

the word was new to me, but they promised a dream pay -

I wrote the number on my palm and figured this was my luck and fate.

At home I rang the number, it was answered by a bloke,

I told him I had talent and stamina, he replied that's really good,

he said I have an appointment tomorrow, and don't bring any cameras.

I went to bed a happy man, and dreamed of Hollywood.

I left my camera phone at my home,

then drove to the address I had,3km south.

an underground house with a tattered quote: “Desi Blue world” above the door,

I combed my hair and cleared my throat, promising a success without a doubt

I knocked but nobody seemed to hear, I pushed the door and went inside,

a blonde sat at a typewriter, she looked so hot and cute,

I stood there like a statue, and my eyes were shining blue –

the blonde was rather pretty, and was in her party suit!

She told me not to worry, this was her normal dress.

whenever they were shooting, all the workers went nude all day,

she stood and walked around the desk, and things got rather warm,

but when she bent to get a file I fainted away!

I woke up in few hours, someone asked if I was right,

I kept my eyes shut tight until the dizziness had gone,

I couldn’t see much anyway, so brilliant was the light,

To write a book about improvisation is partly a contradiction in terms. Improvisation is spontaneous. It's in the moment.

When I think back now to the recording sessions, there is more improvisation than one hears. It's an ideal combination of arrangements and improvisation. Only a few people are able to listen and say what is composed and what is improvised. It's a unit.

Improvisation is almost like the retarded cousin in the comedy world. We've been trying forever to get improvisation on TV. It's just like stand-up. It's best when it's just left alone. It doesn't translate always on TV. It's best live.

The canvas empty and expecting
Awaits the stroke of colours pastel in their shades.

Through Improvisation we compose through intuition
Through Improvisation we allow Imagination a realm

Amazing Audacity (Revised)

Our recalcitrant colleague,
esteemed Mme Pompadour,
solved problem of being at
the office, Monday she said
booked off till today - called,
feels nauseous, can't come
in - why when she's already
arranged to stay away?

Difficult to make up sick leave
on the go, keep track what was
said when, ad hoc improvisation
on the spot - maybe she should
develop ethical standards, more
consistency in stories; we feel so
sorry when her tales go awry

Though I am glad to say that
management seems happy
with whatever she does, making
us proud by getting away with
anything, what lovely duplicity,
all has to admire and applaud
such amazing audacity!
