on a dark night
when i cannot see the path
where i must walk upon
on blistered feet
you shall be my star
my moon
and you shall guide my way
on a storm
when my sails are threatened
by the waves
bigger than houses and boats
you shall be my
strong rudder
but now my love
you are sleeping
you struggle too on your nightmares
i see you
wriggling in pain
i will always be with you
for now, i am your star, your moon, your sun
your rudder
i can wait
when you wake up
at this moment
i must be strong
