Wondering
You made me feel so happy
So wanted
I felt special
And pretty
My life was brighter
Because you were in it
But that was
Long ago
You were what I thought
I Wanted at the time
But I had to let
Go of you
Things were falling apart
We barely saw each other
We were too young
Simply too young
Eventually it would have broken
Even if I had not ended it then
I have grown and changed
And I have realized
Even though I liked you
I did not love you
You were what I wanted
But are no longer what I seek
I want more in a relationship
Than you gave me
It was the right decision
But I still wonder
