Most publishers would wish
That those who indulge in the literary
Utilize correct English
Considered seriously...poetry.
So refrain from 'u' when meaning 'you'
Never use 'gonna' for 'going to'
Specially never 'ma' for 'my'
And don't write 'wanna' for 'want to'.
And for those who think that they're smart,
Who lace their poems with curses
They show little respect for the art
With inadequate language in their verses.
