Take a moment
To look into my eyes
Just before you leave
And say your last goodbye.
Take a moment
To hold me one last time
To feel the love we had
The time when you were mine.
Take a moment
To hear the beat of this heart
And know its pain in pleading
That you will not depart.
For this is time suspended
Engraved in eternity
When our Love had ended
And you are gone from me.
