Truth With No Meaning
When the truth has no meaning
and the powers that be let them hide
what's the point in justice
if it's all built on a lie
I know someone
who told a lie
got a guy put away
destroyed his life
I know a man
who hurt his nephew
didn't even try to hide
just carried on with life
Justice can't hide
how many lies
do we have to bide
The days turn into nights
the nights turn into days
but the lies still shine bright
It's time to turn the light off
it's time to put the meaning
back into the truth
