I've Let Go
I've let go today
Of hope's and dreams of yesterday
For time and life
Have made them fade away
I could no longer hold on
With each passing year
What I thought was so dear
No longer has the same meaning to me
Was it that life has harden me
Or has reality made me see
That those dreams were never
Meant for me
