Sonnet: My Wait is Almost Over
A little breeze to blow, I long await,
With summer show’rs of rain to lessen heat;
For God to open yet another gate:
For patience still to pull off my great feat.
For silver lining in the clouds, I wait;
For clouds that hide both sun and moon- to move;
Some writing on the wall to change my fate;
To feel the magic of my Maker’s love.
A ray of light in darkness, I await;
A bit to hope in despair, incessant;
A better weather in my life till date;
My dreams to become true, I badly want.
My world is changing for my good, of late,
And things come round: I know not still the date.
