Sonnet: Resignation- a Virtue
If all attempts to usher justice fails;
If labour hard towards a goal's sheer waste;
If lies, dishonest means still much prevail;
Resign, we must to fate and defeat taste.
If all prayers to God goes without heed;
If mother Nature acts to favour crooks;
If Luck and pluck deserts us too indeed;
Resign, we must to fate’s improper looks.
Yet, Resignation is a virtue too,
Which good man adds to list, he possesses;
A test of humility, we must do;
‘fore God, our performance, well assesses.
Resignation 's, a feather in one's cap,
By which we put our problems in God's lap!
