Sonnet: Sweety
Born was a girl-child last in family,
At a time when her mother was weakest!
She cheered us all and grew so happily,
Wearing a smile and appearing meekest!
How patiently, she helped mother in chores!
How joyfully, she went about her work!
How quietly she walked often to stores!
How pleasantly she talked without knee-jerk!
An asset to the family, she was;
A pet to all, she joked and laughed always;
The humblest of the children and work-horse!
She showered love on Father in last days!
The sweetest child- celestial gift, she came;
She married last and lives up to her name!
