Our ancestors must be rolling in their graves right now
Could they only see what has begotten of mankind:
Unself-respecting descendants in suits and skirts
Armed with pointless words stabbing each other on the backs
Drawing no blood but in their maiden thoughts
Afraid, shy deceivers... Lead in the communal water
Poisoning no one but themselves
Too bad we're still as resilient as they were.
Like cockroaches. Just without the balls.
