Valentine's Day at the Florist's
'Good Morning Sir, what would you like?
A single rose perhaps or more,
Wrapped beautifully in cellophane,
With card and bows galore'
'She'll love you for the thought Sir,
I recommend the red,
They'll be delivered too, Sir,
Yes, I'll sign it', ' Love from Ted'.
'I know the cost is high, Sir,
But 'quality's the thing,
Especially with roses,
Think of all the love they bring.
'We go for the 'Wow' factor,
Did I mention this before? ,
Oh, Yes, I think I did, Sir,
Well if you're really sure'.
'A mixture would be fine, Sir,
Maybe yellow would be nice,
With one red rose in the centre,
To add a bit of spice'.
'Oh Yes, I do agree, Sir,
She really will be thrilled,
She'll love you just the same Sir',
(If not a little chilled!) .
'Well thank you Sir, for your order,
We aim to always see
That our customers are happy.
Any queries to ask? Feel free'.
'So do please accept our card, Sir,
Just telephone, please do,
For, you may need more flowers sent,
Of a 'specific' hue'.
'Goodbye now Sir and thank you,
Do have a pleasant day,
We hope you'll call again, Sir,
When you are down our way'.
