The Hidden Diamond

In the mad search for the diamond,
Some fought to the last blood
Awaiting the victory of supremacy
Flooded in sweat and blood
Producing cyclones from their mouths
To pick the diamond with faith,
Seeing it just but an ordinary stone

A light could be seen from a distance
Men could see and wonder
Making great strides, they ran
Slicing each other with sharp swords
The fields full of dust
The battle of the giants
In the face of fury
It was not a diamond

In that mad search for diamond,
Skirmishers of wit, ink to paper,
Gradient and latitude,
Wisdom against intelligence,
The clever against the schemers
Yet no diamond was found

In my humble mindset I sat down,
In my lonely thoughts I found you
They said you were hidden
Yet you were just all over
For not the brave nor the bold,
Nor the wise and intelligent
But for just but only me
