You Always Make My Day
You come along and say hey,
Twinkling your eye you will say,
Into these arms you shall lay,
To love and never go astray,
To be there and never betray,
In your ears I always whisper,
You always make my day
When the meanings are far to reach,
My mind your words do bleach,
Never going away an inch,
From a frown to a smile,
Giving me what is needed,
You always make my day
In pursuit of all my hopes,
The temptation of giving up approaches,
You always tell me I can make it,
Not to motivate a weak soul,
But to unleash the abilities in me,
You always make my day
Waking up from a long night,
Picturing the dawn from an angle,
Picking up the phone to hear your voice,
Seeing your beautiful face all day
Sunset approaching, left all alone,
In those moments I realise
You always make my day
