Evadne
Foam of ocean, royal blue of Aegean depths,
where deities like Triton and Nereus inhabit,
a hymn of fifty Naiads accompany the steps,
of Poseidon's bride, Pitanis, in Cosmos orbit.
Evadne, Nymph of Deep Blue Poseidon's ways,
bestowing Sovereign Olympus Charis, aborning
offspring of Immortals, beauty unfettered in bays
a Delphic God will claim her, his Lyra extoling.
Apollo, loved foam-purity's soul on bluish dyes,
paeans tuned as oracles of Pythian legends lead,
to embrace of immortal peaks, lines in skies,
Helios and Moirae spaciously weave gild to wed.
Evadne in Apollo's thoughts, his heart's wave,
Iamos was their son, to start a sacred tradition,
Olympic Games perceived in true ways brave,
as all descendants honored 'em, ruling patricians.
Evadne lives in Olympic paths, among all nobles,
honors forms of synagonism for Games result,
Solemn Olive Tree crown, adorning the winners,
to whisper hymns of prowess, of valor to exult.
