A hard to say good bye
It is very hard to say good bye
You may loose the strength even if you try
You can’t bear the separation
To loose him or her permanently is out of question
The intimacy is developed over the number of years
It is very difficult to miss and silently bear
The ears may be deafening for sweet voice to hear
Thee whole schedule may be off the track and out of gear
Its impact on mind is really devastating
It is layer in between and keeps it insulating
The grief and sadness appear all of sudden
It may isolate you from daily routine even
How in a friction of seconds a person can be no more?
How in no time ship an run aground and not reach the shore?
Is it not the life full of uncertainties and unsecured?
Can life be taken for sure and in terms measured?
No one can answer these questions in affirmative
No one will come to your rescue and not even your relatives
It is full of mystery and bound to happen
You must brace up for any eventuality and sharpen
No activity comes to grinding halt
There may prevail lull after strong assault
The tragedy may take place but impact may be little short
You must try to forget it and cut very short
You may come across such things on number of occasions
There may be lot of casualties at the time of invasions
Whole country may be reeling under the grief
It may remain there for quite time but stay for brief
Certain things may remain forever and have lasting effect
Every year they may remind us and force us to react
We will not be in position to offer condolences or act
This is reality of life and remains as barren fact
You may try to forget and give it a go bye
You may not remember and ask any question as to why?
The things still remain in your upper mind
You may not have satisfactory answer to find
You have loved your dear ones for quite long
They might have committed right or wrong
Still they occupy position close to your heart
It may remain hardest hit fact from the start
