A Tribute to September,11 2001
Dawn breaks over the horizon,
the first rays of sunshine
start to warm the air
and brighten the city.
It is a clear blue sky this morning,
it is just perfect.
Everyone buzzes around, ready
to start their morning.
Nothing at all seems to
be wrong or could ruin this day.
No one is aware of the
immanent danger they are in.
New Yorkers rushing to do
all they need to,
not taking a moment to
stop and see the world.
BOOM! ! ! Hundreds of
innocent people, their lives
suddenly go up in flames
as the plane crashes.
Thousands of people below
suddenly stop to see
the inferno inside the building
rage on and the smoke billow out.
This once seemingly great day,
now has threatened us
and the lives of many people,
it is now an attack.
The people below stop to stare,
trying to figure out what
happened for this explosion
to occur inside the building.
No one ever thinks that
a jumbo airliner,
carrying lots of people,
had been hijacked by terrorists.
This plan had been made
long before this day.
The hearts of these men
turned to evil.
