Blame
Blame
By: Jean Pullman
I am sick and tired of the blame being put on me
Even if I know there’s no possibility
That I stole this or I did that
I’m constantly beaten with a baseball bat
A bat of lies and extreme bad luck
CHORUS
Why do you always put the blame on me
Why don’t you ever believe my honesty
Why can’t I stop being afraid
Of always getting the blame
Now you’re going way too fucking far
You saying I’m lying about what’s in my heart
Why can’t you realize
That these tears are truth and not lies
I hope one day
I will stop always getting the blame
CHORUS
Why do you always put the blame on me
Why don’t you ever believe my honesty
Why can’t I stop being afraid
Of always getting the blame
Please, Pleas believe in what I say
Let this be the very first day
That you know I’m telling the truth
And then I can have some faith in you
Because I am sick and fucking tired of getting the blame.
