Meant to be
Meant to Be
By: Jean Pullman
I could’ve sworn we were meant to be but I guess that were not
She broke your heart and you broke mines in return there’s no moving on
I wish you’d give me a chance and forget about her
I could make you happy and the vision of her would blur
But I guess were not
CHORUS
Meant to be
Holding hands and caught up in our romance
Meant to be
Walking on the beach watching the sun set
Meant to be
Loving the feeling we make each other get
Too bad were not meant to be
I am dying on the inside
At night I secretly cry
If all of these people weren’t around
I’d be doing that now
She hurt you but you hurt me too
I don’t know why I trusted you
I guess I thought I actually had a chance
To get a little of your romance
But now I know I was too stupid
For me there is no cupid
CHORUS
Meant to be
Holding hands and caught up in our romance
Meant to be
Walking on the beach watching the sun set
Meant to be
Loving the feeling we make each other get
Too bad were not meant to be
Why do I
Constantly try
To find love
When I know there is no one
I fell for you
Fell really hard too
So in time I’ll pick myself up
And maybe find love
