A Do-It-Yourself Fanatic
When you were young and beautiful
You broke my heart in two,
But I was a DIY man
And I mended it with glue!
We had a very happy life,
Our home was spic and span,
You were the ever-loving wife
Of a handsome DIY fan!
But you are old and ugly now
So I'll tell you what I'll do,
I'll make a Mona Lisa mask
And fasten it to you!
I learned my hobby long ago
And know a trick or two,
There's very little in the world
That a man like me can't do!
Please don't think me an egotist
With my Black and Dekker tools,
I'm gonna live a lot longer
Than most of those grinning fools!
Of course, it cannot be denied
That all of us must die,
But I'm not simply gonna pass away
I'm gonna D-I-Y! !
