Jack, Of All Trades
Dabble in this and
dabble in that,
a mighty fine time
under many a hat.
Considered by many
a jack of all trades,
I've even learned inmates
how to play spades.
Now looking back on
from the eve of my life,
I see darlings and lovers
but nary a wife.
Just scraps of old letters
women wanting to wed,
I'll read with my dinner
the day after im dead.
