In Every Crooked Crevice to Be Crannied
In a closeted society.
Crumbling from pretensed traditions.
Where sexual aids are televised to satisfy pleasures.
In prime time or anytime one views!
It seems extremely immature,
To believe those who currently 'sleep'
With a releasing of their 'needs'.
With same sex partners.
Would 'not' do so...
IF laws restricting such activities,
Were suddenly implemented...
To prevent consented wishes!
Or...
Would lower a rising divorce rate.
Complicated by domestic abuse issues.
Although beating someone to death,
Is more accepted.
Just as it is perfectly okay...
To take someone's life,
Because a lost job was the excuse.
Or getting behind the wheel to drive and then kill...
Is considered more redeemable,
Than the smoking of 'pot'...
Inside one's home!
Our prisons seem to reflect,
What is or is not condoned!
The smoking of weed...
Has seldom received,
A life sentence behind bars for manslaughter.
Although those judgements made,
Are not mine to pass.
Nor...
Will a return to moralistic values,
Never realistically practiced.
Be prioritized by those whose eyes,
Are on someone they would like to screw.
When and where they choose.
Regardless of charaded public appearances.
Unless those 'appearances'
Were made in nakedness.
And the thought of some folks having sex,
Entirely clothed...
Would be more appropriate to suggest!
Men limped wrist,
Or women wearing lipstick...
