Lost Child
The person I knew
Is gone today
The person I knew
Has flown away
The person I knew
To my sad dismay
That person I knew
Has gone astray
The Child I knew
Has passed away
How sad I am
Is hard to say
The words too frail
They can't convey
The loss I feel
They can't portray
Each time in thought
I pass this way
