You are the one
Constant as the sun
Constant as the moon
Constant as the stars
You are the one
You are the one
Steady sure thing!
You are the one
Too wear my ring.
You are the one.
Invariable ingredient
You are the one
Sweet never shouldn’t.
You are the one
Rainbows, only pigment
You are the one
Never, just transient...
You are the one
My indigo rose
You are the one
Too wear my bedclothes.
You are the one
And you are! The one
And only one
Who really understands me?
Knows me?
You are the one
Clandestine star
You are the one reason
My jaw hangs low ajar
Wordless like an olive tree
You are the music the sitar
The seasoned wood; sequined in me.
You are the wild wind
That whips up the sandbars
On an ever changing tidal shore
You are the one who binds us all blind
All in a whirlwind, furore
You are the one island in the setting sun
Who really understands me?
Knows me?
You are the one.
