It's Hard
It's a hard life.
Full of endless hopeless blithe.
It feels like you can never get it right.
Trying so hard to find the light.
All you get is darkness spite.
Constant rejection, you'll never reach the heights.
Of loving hope.
Always made to feel a dope.
Your attempts to try are seen as jokes.
You keep trudging through this witches brew.
It only seems to make you blue.
It is so hard what can you do?
At least you can say your love is true.
You're fighting for the greatest law.
Willing to take on the greatest job.
Willing to share your life,
and not be a self centered slob.
It is so hard to face their sneers.
When you only wish to hold them dear.
Keep on marching and have no fear.
One day soon it will be clear.
To the one who pushed you to the rear.
That what they missed was very dear.
Then they'll come to give you cheer.
I know it's until that day.
Just keep your head up and lead the way.
