The Land
A gentle hand guides us through this land.
That holds such bounties and such tragic ends.
Take this hand and you'll find a joy, gloriously grand.
Ignore it though and you'll end up buried in the sand.
There are many glories in this story.
Although at times it seems quite horrid.
At least we can say it's never boring.
Many pratfalls are in your way.
Take this hand you'll rule the day.
Never feeling skies of gray.
Unless you wander the other way.
Then blackness strikes and bleakness spikes.
Tortured by such ghastly likes.
Cannot be imagined in their heights.
Depravity, misery and savage spite.
Eat you up you'll feel no light.
So take this hand to guide you through the land.
You need it to be strengthened for the plan.
It leads you to rewards so grand.
