I and You
I am the air that embraces the feathers of your wings
When I sleep at night you bring me dreams
I am the first rays bursting forth on a cloudy day
You are the open ocean's windy white spray
I am the cold distance between every star
You are my fiery heat I feel from afar
I am the glazen white light from the dust of the moon
You're looking back and saying, 'Come catch me real soon.'
I am the glisten as light shines through the rain
You are the Magi whose hands heal all my pain
I am the father before there was time
You are the mother as eternity unwinds
They say it is written in stone on the walls
I say it is unwritten that tells to me all
