A Winter Bloom,
In winter a flower blooms
unique and vivid
It sweet scent looms
Bringing out all its essence
A winters gift
In its eccentric presence
stands out like a star
In the dark clear sky
It dazzles with beauty
A treat to the eye
So vulnerable and fragile
But still full of mite
The storms don't harm
The frost cant bite
As the spring
Begins to settle
The flower whimpers
And drops a petal
spring flowers begin to bloom
but this lonely blossom
Meets its doom
