Winter's Symphony
I am lying awake
Listening to winter outside
Many thoughts criss-crossing
Through the corridors of my mind
The past the present
Connected to what the future might hold
Wishing he was here
To enjoy the symphony
Of Winter's stormy winds and rain
In the darkest of night
As I sigh and fall asleep
to the rhythmic beat of his heart
