Three Very Special Gifts
three magi with three symbolic gifts
gave chase to a bright star in the east
bringing special gifts of gold, myrrh, and frankincense
all to a newborn king
who became high priest
oh yes! these magi had very good sense!
this newborn king gave the angels a reason to sing
the world a reason to rejoice
then the exclamation of a great voice-
this is my beloved son, in whom i am well pleased! ! !
for this priest- i will go to my knees
and give my soul's devotion-
for the gifts of peace
love
and eternal salvation!
