May I Drink Your Tears?
May i eat your laughter
and drink your tears?
and then after
that may i sweetly speak
my words, the rich and the bleak,
into your ear?
brush your locks
of hair aside,
and i'd
even take my foolish pride
and hide
it under a rock
outside
so that in your soul i may reside.
I am a box that's locked...
but you have pried me open
