Man’s civilization
Men were wolfs; women their prey.
Sexual assaults were many.
She agreed to one man’s shelter.
Man agreed to take her his.
Yes, he wanted to spot his child
To hand over his property to.
He thus entered into to monogamy.
The concept of marriage was born.
Possessiveness grew a concern.
Man’s polygamy in starvation,
Prostitution was born to stay.
Adultery was usual occurrence,
Which men abhor and yet dream of.
