A Soul That Wouldn't Bleed
When I was feeling myself fall
you picked me up again
and taught me how to stand
you gave me strength to live
even through the sorrow
and every bit of pain
When I was down and alone
you held out your hand
and gave me a shoulder to lean on
showed me it was better not to recieve
but to help those in need
and you taught me how to give
When I was in doubt with anger
with a soul that wouldn't bleed
you showed me days of better
and taught me how to believe
you let me see out there
that there's more to what we have here
When I just gave up on everything
felt like I lost it all
hiding behind my grief
losing faith in my belief
you showed me a new tomorrow
of what the morning sun would bring
When I was ready to leave
you said to open your heart
and you will find me
I am always beside you
we are never apart
even when your eye's were blind
and you couldn't see
I never left you behind
