Saw you in a picture
shining like the morning sun
that's when I just knew
girl, I had to make you mine
on down the line
Those eyes so bright
an Angel in disguise
like rays through a light
coming down from heaven above
beautiful as a morning dove
I knew you were the one
to heal this lonely heart
saw in you a special love
forever in you
my one and only cure
a love that never dies
knew it from the start
And though the miles keep us apart
days pass, you're never gone
for you, I'll keep holding on
til I'm there by your side
holding you in my arms at night
til we both subside
You touched me in a way
I never felt before
like colors of a rainbow
after an evening rain
you washed my pain away
now nothing here the same will remain
and I'll love you forever more
