post-modern
shards splinters
poking eyes
that will not see
piercing throats
carrying no voice
shattering eardrums
in ears unused
waves of thoughts
permeate space
wavelengths in spectrums
speaking shouting
to all people minds
in their own language
Who has consciously
chosen to tune out?
Looked into the sun
burned out their own eyeballs?
closed throat
gorges upon pig fat
translated into self
absorbed fetishes
through your food
your tastes apparent
are written an indictment
proclaiming inhuman indifference
so very much conscious you are
your personal needs desires
gluttony deadly sins
grow into skeletons
forget not
time passing
