Role models of violent seduction,

When the air is hot in the criminal city
On remorseless streets that never take pity
On the naïve and the inept,
On those not mindful of a thief’s precepts
To strike the first blow
And never fall asleep with your eyes shut.
You’re kinda sexy dressed in black,
You could wrap your nylons around someone’s neck.
Keep your intentions mysteriously cloaked
So the bastards never know what’s coming next.
I like you all cut-throat and cool
Creating new ways to be callous and cruel.
I expect, one day, you will give me the gun or the knife
