Ah! Strange Inconstant Northern Star
Ah! strange inconstant northern star
That in your trail behind you seem to leave
A trail of frost invisible
Into the long night of the universe
Tall and half-visible strange inconstant star.
I, too will inconstant as you be
And be
A father to new stars from more than one
Roaming restless and macho in the universe
Into the long night of the universe
And then
A million seeds and more will ride
Down the trail of frost invisible
