Calculated Risk Analysis
The rays enter the room
Illuminating it from within
Dawn breaks dispelling the gloom
This is the new found freedom..
The birds are chirping
The dogs are celebrating the new day
I stretch my bones and take in the fresh air
This is the new found freedom..
The happiness inside knows no bounds
I take a deep breath and look forward
With a smile and hope to this day
This is the new found freedom..
No more shackles no more chains
No more restraints to induce the pain
With a snap broken away
This is the new found freedom..
Time to throw out the old and bring in the new
Time to challenge the norm
Lay down a new path never traveled before
This is the new found freedom..
As I step out of the house with a jaunt in my step
Looking at the shadow left behind
Of days gone by
This is the new found freedom..
