Although I know you’ve probably forgot
And you know I probably have not
You see why I still need to say I’m sorry
But it's been too long to say I'm sorry
It’s been too long to say I’m sorry
But oh I wish I could
For there is now a strength to say the words
And life now appears to be showing
But it’s been too long to say I’m sorry
But no excuses to be made
I must say I'm sorry
It’s been too long to say I’m sorry
But you see I must give it a try
For the anguish that I caused I never meant to be
Just something that was wrong which never should have began
For it's always best to make it right
But it’s been too long to say I’m sorry
But no excuses to be made
I must say I'm sorry
It's been too long to say I'm Sorry
But hoping that you will see and understand
If only I could, Id say, I’m sorry
