Parenthood
The family sat on a bench at a station
with joe's son and his wife acting in a certain fashion
His son went up to the stall to order a drink
In a subtle way, he added a tablet to sink
'have it dad', son said, his tone morose and deep
The drink, actually, did steal the light and put joe to sleep
As he heard the train passing by
Joe yawned and got up with a sigh
with his son, sitting in the train, there alone joe stood
His tears having valued the worth of his 'parenthood'.....
