The Father's Sins
I won’t bear your burden
And I’ll never share your fate
Prepare yourself to rot inside
The tomb that you create
Your web of lies will strangle you
But cannot shroud your crime
You’ve escaped judgement until now
But soon you’ll serve your time
Oh, father you have sinned
Confess and purge your soul
The torture wheel that you have built has spun out of control
Oh, father you have sinned
Escape your purgatory
I’ll never let the father’s sins cast shadows over me.
