La Bella Mano

O BELLA Mano, che ti lavi e piaci
In quel medesmo tuo puro elemento
Donde la Dea dell' amoroso avvento
Nacque, (e dall' onda s'infuocar le faci
Di mille inispegnibili fornaci):—
Come a Venere a te l'oro e l'argento
Offron gli Amori; e ognun riguarda attento
La bocca che sorride e te che taci.
In dolce modo dove onor t' invii
Vattene adorna, e porta insiem fra tante
Di Venere e di vergine sembiante;
Umilemente in luoghi onesti e pii
Bianca e soave ognora; infin che sii,
O Mano, mansueta in man d'amante.

O LOVELY hand, that thy sweet self dost lave
In that thy pure and proper element,
Whence erst the Lady of Love's high advènt
Was born, and endless fires sprang from the wave:—

Sub Terra

Where shall I find you—
You, my grotesque fellows
That I seek everywhere
To make up my band?
None, not one
With the earthy tastes I require:
The burrowing pride that rises
Subtly as on a bush in May.

Where are you this day—
You, my seven-year locusts
With cased wings?
Ah, my beauties, how I long!
That harvest
That shall be your advent
Thrusting up through the grass,
Up under the weeds,
Answering me—
That shall be satisfying!
The light shall leap and snap

Keep the chain of human race unbroken

Made in heaven
Are marriages
Is an adage
But this phrasing is slowly assuming
The status of just a saying

A woman and a man
Are declared wife and husband
To stay together and united
So that an institution called family is
Established, maintained and sustained
With the great responsibility of
Begetting children and helping them grow
Into worthy human beings

The prime motive is to
Ensure continuation of the
Genetic order Homo sapiens

Togetherness and union among the couple

Christmas Story, 2012

A baby boy is born in Bethlehem,
In just a manger, sleeping upon hay!
In wee hours of a morn in winter's cold,
For there was no room at the inn for Him!

A virgin was His mother upon earth;
The Holy Spirit conceived Him this way;
The Word of God took flesh in Mary's womb!
Foretold by prophets, He was ‘Emmanuel'!

The baby was to be the Messiah!
The love of God had sent Him to save man;
He came to forgive sins of all mankind,
As man could not rise to God's perfection!

The baby brought both peace and joy for us;
He was to suffer and die on the cross;
He shed His blood for mankind's every sin!
Heaven opened unto repentant man!

Unquestioned Madness

An escape route from reality has been discovered.
Those cherishing their delusions,
Have come to sigh a breath of relief.
A last minute effort to smother them with truth...
Was discovered to be too cruel.
Too much of it on them released!
And too traumatic an event...
Causing the advent of a massive anxiety,
Carefully prevented.

'Sales revenue and holiday shoppers,
Must be protected!
They must not suspect...
A way of life lived is not accepted.
Shower them with Christmas scents,
And gifts to pick throughout all seasons.'

Fantasies have been extended...
With unlimited pretensions granted for all.
Accountability has been dismissed!

Waiting -- Afield At Dusk

What things for dream there are when spectre-like,
Moving among tall haycocks lightly piled,
I enter alone upon the stubble field,
From which the laborers' voices late have died,
And in the antiphony of afterglow
And rising full moon, sit me down
Upon the full moon's side of the first haycock
And lose myself amid so many alike.
I dream upon the opposing lights of the hour,
Preventing shadow until the moon prevail;
I dream upon the night-hawks peopling heaven,
Each circling each with vague unearthly cry,
Or plunging headlong with fierce twang afar;
And on the bat's mute antics, who would seem
Dimly to have made out my secret place,
Only to lose it when he pirouettes,
And seek it endlessly with purblind haste;
On the last swallow's sweep; and on the rasp
In the abyss of odor and rustle at my back,
That, silenced by my advent, finds once more,

Without Human Fragrance

No scenery can be complete without human fragrance
Emotions, sadness and happiness must show its presence
All living natural things can depict the scene
But adding of beautiful lady with smile can artistically seen

Nature brings smile with advent of sun
Life too begins with hectic activities and run
Whole cay can be passed of easily with nice welcome
If smile is offered then happiness is bound to come

This is natural law and can be changed by none
Its presence and essence ahs to be shared by everyone
There is no dominance of whatsoever or any kind
That lives as live impression in mind

Every time I raise my thoughts to certain level
They give encouragement and certainly excel
I can’t exclude female figure from natural beauty
It comes before eyes as beautiful presentation from almighty

Sights and Sounds of Christmas

How do I know
Christmas is near
Signs around our house
Make it very clear

Advent paper windows
Get opened each day
Twenty-five to count
Teaching grandkids to pray

They're more excited by
The piece of candy they find
Such a small prize makes big eyes
It's a joy of a special kind

Each window has a little prayer
To remind why we count each day
There's other things that tell me
Santa too is on his way

Pen In Hand

I have tried to analyse myself
and why I do the things, I do.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a policeman,
though I had the height,
I wasn’t that smart,
so as that idea went out the window
and no new ideas came along,
I decided to become a nobody
for what else could I be.
I was no good at English,
nor any good at maths,
I couldn’t even roller skate
as I kept falling down.
Everything I tried to do
I failed miserably,
so why did I take up writing,
it doesn’t make sense at all.
English was my worst subject,
so why would I want to write
I can’t think of any reason for it.

The ever watchin eye.

Be careful what you choose to do
C.C.T, V is watching you.
If you’re caught short and need to pee
You can be certain you will be
recorded by C.C.T.V.

A matter of security
I’m not too sure that I agree
I’m sure that it was meant to be
But have to say it seems to me.

Invasion of our privacy
Though placed on private property
they are positioned so they see.
Where people have a right to be.

Recording automatically
whatever happens secretly.
That’s not the way things used to be
nor am I sure things ought to be.
