A boy from Babylon

Went to London

And when he found that nobody knows Gilgamish

He fainted and his life ended

The story was printed

And the commentators felt that the Earth

was not as yet ripe for receving

beauty is a simple melody

lingering ever in our thoughts

not as a struggle but a cherished dream -

man and his God

God made the country,
and man made the town;
countrymen have the smile
and townsmen the frown.

fountain water to country side
and swimming pool to the town,
field fresh food to country folks
and frozen foods to the clowns.

Material Wealth

In the balancing scale, you know,
The weightier pan tilts to be low.

Similarly if your mind is in the mundane level,
Filled with thoughts of material wealth to revel,

Your mind's scale descends in degree,
And it becomes distanced from God's decree.

Like cheerful birds
Chirping in May
In colourful saris
Chattering away
The working -ladies fly
From office at five.
The next door house-wife
With jealousy heaves—
But who can comprehend
Those impetuous feelings that stir
The inner recesses of her heart?

Fire is so beautiful to look at

Its flaming figure is bright saffron

It aspires to the sky

Where shines the Sun

Where lightening cries out in thunder

And warns man for monkeying

With technology-his the other

Fire seeks to mingle with the fire of the skies

Nothingness oozes ceaselessly from everywhere

She is the mother

i live in her placenta
