Quotes about magnet, page 10
The Market!
I remember taking you shopping,
Which is something I don’t like to do.
But the memory is a pleasant one
Because I was there with you.
I watched you as you filled your cart,
While following from behind.
The graceful way you moved about,
Is branded into my mind.
You fondled some bananas,
That nearly drove me wild.
I wished I was that piece of fruit,
That thought still brings a smile.
You turned toward me bending very low
To reach something that I do not know.
My eyes were pulled like a magnet then,
Looking down your blouse, till you stood again.

Empty Commiserations
She says she doesn’t, he says he doesn’t
says he wants freedom yet his mind can’t let go
She’s not there, now and again she is
Says she needs romance but he has too much passion
Says he needs passion but she hasn’t the romance
It’s complicated, we are together but we are not
He’s looking for a mint coin, mint-cruise exploration
Says she wants prince charming but charms no princes
She’s hunting for a solar-magnet, cosmic stardust
Says he’s set in his ways and she wants to change me
Says she’s independent, he wants to control me
When the gold rush slows, smouldering fires quickening
He says he’s not found ‘her’ yet, she says she hasn’t fallen
Boundless adventures sought, there are plenty of fish
A good loose heart both say, fired up, revving for a new start
There is no guilt, no disappointment and no pain they say
Yet a jealous flicker burns, and occasionally commiserate…moaning

Tried To Shower Away This Pain
I try to shower away this pain
But it comes right back to me
Hits me as I'm through
Then I'm filled with pain all over again
Sighing cause I have nothing to be happy about
Thought I could shower away this pain
But my thoughts just got washed down the drain
Now I realize I'm forced to stick with this pain for life
Wanting the pain to just go away
But I know that will never happen
Stuck here all alone
Wishing that someone would just kill this pain
Take it away from me for good
Cause I've tried everything to rid this pain and misery
And nothing works
Thought I could just shower this pain away

Elighten And Enlightenment
something disturbs
me about the verb
to enlighten and the
word
enlightenment:
as a kid,
-i mean when i was, ....
sometimes I am.... childish and
and unworried irresponsible....party no party gay...-
being enlightened
had to have
some connection with light...

Redirected Rage At Students Unblessed-Thank God, I'm No Longer Possessed.
Redirected rage tossed aside it's predestined path...
Can't blame 'nother problem by school and math.
In high school i was at a stand still in summer school math
and American history...
Never got an a or even a dee.
T'was just an eff just due to me.
I did not want ta become a rocket scientist or teacher of years
in time...
What law had i broken? -What caught was my crime?
Art and English were just my best subjects...
That fact was clear to my teachers, no lie or not even a false pretext or subtext.
As a teenager i was hard to control...
The grade school hall monitor was always out on Mike Gale patrol.
Fights were attracted to me as like a mighty over powering magnet...
That should seem to all readers of this bad fact that is solomnly

Sparrow And The Earth-Day
flash back belongs to childhood days
sparrows the nearest neighbor
dawn to down the vermilion sun
busy we kept those abrupt flying motion
room, roof flexible floor to ocean
sometimes one but many times together many
took bath in dust now is myth
sparrow our first target to hunt
with gun never breeds bullet
sound simply as toys could make
but we would get proud to shoot at sight
since the naughty wings never gave them chance
to sit silently at a place more than moment
little sparrow the soft heart chirped random
silent noon of schoolclosed days
never got silence any noon whether sleep or not
sparrows followed us just did Sharlock Holmes
little their heart full of life, vigor kept them rest

To The Immortal Memory Of The Halibut, On Which I Dined This Day, Monday, April 26, 1784
Where hast thou floated, in what seas pursued
Thy pastime? When wast thou an egg new spawned,
Lost in the immensity of ocean's waste?
Roar as they might, the overbearing winds
That rocked the deep, thy cradle, thou wast safe--
And in thy minikin and embyro state,
Attached to the firm leaf of some salt weed,
Didst outlive tempests, such as wrung and racked
The joints of many a stout and gallant bark,
And whelmed them in the unexplored abyss.
Indebted to no magnet and no chart,
Nor udner guidance of the polar fire,
Thou wast a voyager on many coasts,
Grazing at large in meadows submarine,
Where flat Batavia just emerging peeps
Above the brine,--where Caledonia's rocks
Beat back the surge,--and where Hibernia shoots
Her wondrous causeway far into the main.
--Wherever thou hast fed, thou little thoughtst,
And I not more, that I should feed on thee

The Wedding Ring Dance
I dance in circles holding
the moth of the marriage,
thin, sticky, fluttering
its skirts, its webs.
The moth oozing a tear,
or is it a drop of urine?
The moth, grinning like a pear,
or is it teeth
clamping the iron maiden shut?
The moth,
who is my mother,
who is my father,
who was my lover,
floats airily out of my hands
and I dance slower,
pulling off the fat diamond engagement ring,
pulling off the elopement wedding ring,
and holding them, clicking them
in thumb and forefinger,

My Ideal Man
A man of 360 degrees personality.
A man of many colours.
A man of many souls,
Suited for every single season,
Tailored for a fair number of tasks.
He is my ideal man.
It is not his outward beauty,
But his devastating internal brilliance.
A man of amazing aspiration,
Who issues incredible inspiration.
You are my ideal man.
A man like a magnet,
Drawing into his fold and bosom,
All panaches of people,
‘Cos he commands remarkable respect,
And radiates astonishing admiration.
That is my ideal man.

Thy Ship
Hadst thou a ship, in whose vast hold lay stored
The priceless riches of all climes and lands,
Say, woudst thou let it float upon the seas
Unpiloted, of fickle winds the sport,
And of wild waves and hidden rocks the prey?
Thine is that ship; and in its depths concealed
Lies all the wealth of this vast universe –
Yea, lies some part of God’s omnipotence
The legacy divine of every soul.
Thy will, O man, thy will is that great ship,
And yet behold it drifting here and there –
One moment lying motionless in port,
Then on high seas by sudden impulse flung,
Then drying on the sands, and yet again
Sent forth on idle quests to no-man’s land
To carry nothing and to nothing bring;
Till worn and fretted by the aimless strife
And buffeted by vacillating winds
