How hard it was for me to take this journey

the fear of getting bullied,
the shame when I can't answer our teacher
the feeling of being isolated, alone, neglected
Mom you haven't knew that, you didn't know how i feel
But I couldn't just tell you
I know you had a lot of things to think of
I don't want to be an added burden to you
I love you Mom,
I hope you were there at those times
But its all okay Mom
It turned up to be okay
After all, there's God all the time
This is the best thing you did in my life
to make me know God
to let me grow in Him
I am stronger now, but not of my strength but of His

Shushed to Hush Up

Do you remember the first time,
You were shushed to hush up?
To be followed by a sssshhhh!

Were you livid?
Did your eyes open wide?
I know my eyebrows must have arched,
Beyond my furrowed brow!
Looking as if I had a mask on.
And portraying the 'Joker' from Batman.
Overdressed but ready for Halloween.

'Who are 'you' to shush me with a sssshhh? '

Of course none of this makes sense.
Aren't we all adults.
Or pretend we do something that is intended,
And meant?
And not to be shushed...

Maybe I Am a Bit Overly Protective

Okay, okay, okay!
I admit it.
I hid my ambitions.
Secretly I kept wishes to succeed,
To myself.
I got little sleep...
Desiring to perfect my gifts.
I exposed other talents,
As a means to distract.
To keep my chosen path,
Protected from their attacks.
Please!
Please,
I beg of you.
Let them go.
I am the guilty one.
They had no clue as to 'why'
I used them the way I did.
Release them.

A Perpetual, Ordinary Day In The Life Of Me

I was in a great mood today,
Where nothing could bring me down.
Oh, yes, nothing I thought,
Until I saw that clown.

I had accomplished a tremendous feat,
So proud of myself was I!
Until I saw that smug frown,
Then that glorious feeling died.
What did I do?
I ask myself,
I did nothing, of course!
Such silly to think otherwise,
Originated from a different source, I presumed.

But good Lord it drives me mad!
To see him ever so sad,
It's always my fault!
The thought is more bitter than salt!

They Will Be Isolated

Let it be known.
I declare everyone ignoring my wishes,
To be immediately isolated.
With not another cent coming from me.
Make sure that is understood.

'Okay daddy.
You want me to tell mommy that now?
Or after I help here unpack the groceries? '

Just inform her and your betraying brother,

Like You Have Earned It

You do nothing at all,
But want to get paid.
And this you insist!

All you want to do,
Is play a childish game.
With sweetened innocence.

Then you want to lay up and sleep all day,
Like you have earned it.

Then you snap your fingers with the giving of orders.
Like you have earned it.

Nobody here is your slave for a day.

I don’t know what an angel looks like
I don’t even know if they have wings
But I know when I need a reminder
Something wraps around me and sings
It’s the wind in the trees
Makes me pause for a moment
And it’s singing to me
Invisible hand brushing my cheek

Angel kisses to remind me
Everything is okay
Angel kisses and suddenly
I remember what I’m here for today
It’s my chance to love you through this

Watch This Movie

I care about these people.
That's why I can say I like it.

I care about them...
And their display of a 'through thick and thin',
Economic slimness done.
I like the way they handle it.
And the joy expressed by everyone.

Even their next door neighbors...
Seem for them to be the best of friends,
I like how they all participate...
With a display of caring,
That appears to me to be genuine.

I care about these people.
Even their dogs and cats.
Look at the birds and butterflies...
Don't they seem to have sparkle in their eyes?
