When My country helps integrate another nationality

when integration becomes
another nation's task
my assamese friend talks
with my tamil nadu friend
in my country's language
to get to each other

It seems that the people in Tamil Nadu, southern india would only speak tamil though hindi is the national language. so when somebody from other parts of india meet with them, they have to either converse in english or in another country's language. quite a strange status quo isnt it?

Burning India

Kashmir is as usual suffering
Bihar is flooding
Delhi just got attacked
Ahmadabad received d same few months back
IT is glooming in Bangalore
Riots are happening in Mangalore
Orissa is full of Weather racket
Mumbai turns into bear market
Bengal is swelling with Nano-Singur misery
Noida-gurgaon is busy with rape cases and murder mystery.
If this is how India shines, then where are progressive signs.
Is India really shining? I guess it’s truly burning…

Vande Mataram

India, my native-place, is a land of spirituality,
A symbol of great culture and civilization,

Where a host of people visit to quench their thirst of knowledge,
And to learn a lesson of love, truth, non-violence, peace and purity,

I’m proud of being an Indian, a child of Mother-India:
Who shelters all—friend or enemy, and,

Always a source of devotion and inspiration,
And I'm proud to be an Indian,

Now my heart and mind shout 'Vande Mataram'.

Home Sweet Home

There is no other place like Home
The saying goes true in India, America or Rome,

Home is one of the sweetest place
Where one finds peace and solace,

Home is a place where we dwell
A place as sacred as the temple bell,

Just as a bird returns to its nest
We return home to get a little rest,

Wherever we roam in search of enjoyment
We never fail back to come to our pavement,

Its not possible to find a home away from home
The saying goes true in India, America or Rome.

It’s tough to be in expensive shoes

Price of everything in India has gone up
And it doesn’t seems to drop
Vegetables, transport and other utilities
Which while having dinner poor Gopal’s wife was thinking.

Gopal used to have only rice and curds
Which in India is poor man’s bread
He had not tasted dal or vegetables for a long time
Although his children were complaining some times.

Gopal’s son said his friends could not eat with curds
As from childhood they were fed with rich food
Gopal’s wife with sympathy noted,
“I don’t know how people with money manage! ”

Together we shall rise......

There is not a stone that cannot be hauled,
There is not a crisis that cannot be solved.
Together we laugh, together we cry,
Together we live, together we fight.
United we stand to fight all odds,
United we cheer our victories out loud.
Together we shall rise, Yes we shall!

We move forward towards our goal,
We strive ahead as ONE and whole.
There is no stopping the fire in us,
There is no killing the life in us.
India is our land our heart and soul,
India shall fight back with all her force.

Crowing glory

It is not only glory
But a different and golden story
Feather in cap for sagging image
India comes out of bleak age

We may do it again
Strong resolve for position to regain
Out heartiest congratulation for shining
India in lime light and definitely redefining

We as readers celebrate and sing
Wish it to happen again and again to bring
All lost glory for crowing the mother land
Still miles to go yet we sing in praise and play a band

It is name and fame combined
Purely an honor and dividend
Country is brought on world map
Clearly an answer for critics with slap
